My
main reason for trying the TopoScout service
was to get a professional's opinion regarding
stand locations. Living in flat South Florida
and hunting in hilly Georgia, I was curious
to see how the terrain features might affect
bigger bucks and their travel routes. Bill Winke's
review showed that we had some stands in the
right spots and, more importantly to me, provided
some new places to hunt that weren't being pressured.
Bill gave a thorough analysis of each stand
site, which included the best route to get there
and the best times and conditions to hunt there.
I was impressed that Bill could be so in-depth
without having actually been on the property!
